See All ReviewsComing from a Houstonian, I was visiting relatives in Rusk, Tx. My fam advised me to try out this place and everyone knows I loveeeeee seafood not much of a fan for daiquiris but honeyyyyyyy when I tell you this place is the bomb.com lol the “Pink Mumba” drink taste like a strawberry starburst the seafood wasn’t heavily seasoned which was a plus for me, it tasted just right, the corn was soooo buttery and wasn’t over cooked! Customer service was awesome, the environment was very friendly. You guys get a 5 star from me…this will be my go to stop every-time I visit Rusk✨🤎
I dont even drink daiquiris and these i can drink all day. They dont taste like medicine or straight alcohol like some others ive tasted. The food is better than a lit of food ive tatsed in the city being from Houston. If you see a bad review on this place apparently they're hating or have a problem with african american businesses.
We bought the crab plates. I was kind of mixed on my experience with it. My other half loved it! I just wish I had known it was going to be as spicy as it was. My mouth was on fire after the first bite, and not being one who eats spicy stuff, it was not pleasant. The side of my mouth has been cracking and bleeding since I ate it for 4 days now. BUT.......we actually took my food and washed it off in the sink, and after that it was great!! The boudin was fabulous and the corn was awesome!! There was no egg like in the picture on either plate though. We got the strawberry daqueries and they were ok. Neither of us could taste strawberry at all. So, while the first experience wasnt all great, i definitely want to give it another try with the quesadilla plates!
